Who is Nicole?

Hi everyone!  I'm Nicole and I'm really excited about diving into this world called blogging!  I have been asked to blog and have even gone on the internet to begin blogging, but never ended up with anything.  But I'm proud to say that I have begun and I'm really looking forward to people reading and sharing with others.

Now about me...I am 26 years old, single, and have just recently moved back to the US from teaching in Panama.  I was in Panama for about 10 months homeschooling and nannying for an American family.  I am so excited to be home and am currently looking for a teaching job here!!  I am from a town called Sharpsburg located about 30 minutes south of Atlanta, GA.  I graduated from Auburn University in December 2007 with a bachelors in Early Childhood Education.  I began my masters in Early Childhood Education online through Capella University January 2008 and finished that in June 2010.  I was so proud of myself for taking the plunge and getting my masters over with!  :)  It felt good!  I taught first grade for two years, but found myself not very happy with what was going on in my life.  Then God blessed my life with an amazing opportunity, my Mom found on Craigslist, to home school and nanny for an American family in Panama.  I did that for 10 months and now I'm home seeing what's going to happen next.

I am currently working a little office job and subbing two days a week.  I am really excited to see what the future holds and I am hoping to get a job in Coweta County in the fall of 2012!!  Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers!

The many things I enjoy during my free time are reading, watching and going to AU football games, surfing the internet (shopping, blogging, etc.), exercising, being with my family and friends, antiquing, learning how to cook and bake, learning how to redo furniture, being outdoors, growing in my faith, and lots more.  There are too many things I enjoy...I think that's a good thing!  I am excited to share these things with you on my blog and hope you enjoy reading about them!

I know there will be more to add and change as time goes on!!  Stay tuned...

Here are just a few pictures to share...
